Since 2008, Copper Creek Electric has been providing the Greater Nashville area with high quality residential and commercial electrical contracting services. We work closely with contractors, home owners, property managers, and restoration specialists to address electrical needs, such as repairs, remodels, new construction, panel and lighting upgrades, and much more. On every job we service, we focus on quality craftsmanship, safety and integrity - first and foremost.

Our Story

JOHN SIMONSEN, Founder and President

From the start, Copper Creek Electric has been founded on John’s expertise and passion for excellence. He started working for an electrician in Houston, TX at the age of 19. He moved to the Nashville area in 1998 and continued his career in the electrical field, advancing to lead electrician. He gained valuable experience, managing everything from light commercial projects, such as retail build-outs, to industrial factory projects. However, he had made a promise to himself that he would go out on his own by the time he was 35. So in 2008, at the age of 34, he studied, took his electrical contractor’s exam, and Copper Creek Electric was born. His wife, Denise, has been by his side from the beginning, managing the bookkeeping, financials, human resources, and all of the little (but big) things.
